Post subject: TIDMADT Event, Drive a "real" Tank over a car!

This summer, TIDMADT members have an opportunity to mix, mingle, meet and greet in the United States.
TIDMADT is putting together a holiday to remember, meet your fellow clan mates.
Join us as we embark on a vacation of a lifetime! Join us as we put together the itinerary for a life time of memories.
Kasota Minnesota is a place where anyone older than 12 years old can drive a real tank over a car!
We are trying to put together some package deals for the trip. Right now, we are looking at a white water rafting expedition and paintball matches, but the main event will be driving a real live tank!
We will probably have 2 packages available, one will be a week long event, but we are also looking into a 2-week jaunt for the guys flying across the ocean... that one may include a trip to Universal Studios in Orlando, FL.
We are still very much in the planning stages of this event, but we need to get a feel for how many people think they would seriously be interested in coming. If we get enough interest, I can get group discounts for us on hotels and the events. We will most likely use a travel agent for discounts on the air fairs.
Right now, we are looking at June/July of 2012. If you are interested, chime in and let me know how many people you plan on bringing (if you are bringing children/spouses/significant others/bed warmers/etc)
Once we get an idea of how many people are interested, we can start to plan things out as far as costs, and we will post schedules. Also, please let me know what part of the world you will be traveling from, and whether you are interested in a one week or two week excursion.
Come on boys, when is the next chance you will have to get together with all your tank driving friends and actually drive a real tank? Not to mention the golden opportunity to shoot Wilso, Bones and mocs with your paintball gun? Can you really pass this up?
That is about the only safe place to be. Wilso if you are there to supervise make sure mocs doesn't take a wrong turn to the parking lot to drive over more than his one car.

Cant say i have any interest in driving a Tank. tanks don't really do it for me. V8s are the only vehicles that i love. Let me drive something with speed and power and ill love that! As for getting the chance to shoot with 50 cal. Im in on that. And Paintball! Will see how i go. Id like to be able to go, but funding is an issue. Ill try and save cash for it but will be expensive and need to get time off work... Its a big stretch if i can go but ill try!
