Looking to get a new gaming headset here. Likely won't be until after Christmas/boxing day. Anyone with any suggestions please post them here. Not wanting to pay more than $100.00 Canadian, but could possibly go a little over.

The Logitech G330 I heard isn't too bad. Its a smaller set and has a nice decent mic.

This ne may sit outside of your budget range but surround sound on comfy phones are always good.

I don't quite remmeber about these. Maybe you can get lucky and demo a pair but I remember them being good.

I've always liked Logitech equipment. Good, notched quality.

There are "gaming" brands out there like Razer and Steelseries but I don't really know about those.

I use my listening headphones for gaming and just use a decent table mic as I have the table space for it.

Surround sound headphones are a decent way to get around producing overall positional sound on a lower cost range (in comparison to mid-end / mid-high/ high-end headphones.

What are your headphone preferences?.
Soft, comfy over ear headset I'd take it?.

I run the Plantronics Gamecom 777, which are 7.1 surround sound. They also do the Gamecom 555 which are their slightly cheaper 5.1 surround sound headphones.
