The MB-1 is a carbon fiber 56" (142cm) pole intended to support the Astatic 1600VP microphone system. The pole is designed to fit on a standard 5/8" x 27 threaded microphone post. The exclusive clutch rotation system allows for easy and secure adjustment of the angle and length of the boom. A 3.8" (9.6cm) gooseneck with a diameter of .25" (7mm) ensures exact positioning of the microphone head. The MB-1 will position the microphone head without having to hang the 1600VP microphone system.
